A Boat to Timor

Here are some images of Artesania Latinas Bounty Jolly Boat. This is the craft that William Bligh and 18 of his loyal crew were set adrift on after the Bounty mutiny. It's amazing but with only a sextant and a pocket watch Bligh was able to navigate 3618 miles all the way to Timor. That's amazing navigation skills. If you would like to know more about the mutiny on the Bounty and William Bligh you may do so here. It makes for some interesting reading. Models like the Jolly Boat make excellent starter kits for any modeler wishing to venture into wooden model ship building for the first time. But be warned wooden model ship building isn't cheap.
