T 72

Here are some images of Dragon's 1/35 scale Uralvagonzavod T-72 MBT (main battle tank). From Wikipedia "The T-72 is a Soviet-designed main battle tank that entered production in 1970. It is a further development of the T-62with some features of the T-64A (to which it was a parallel design) and has been further developed as the T-90. Chronologically, and in design terms, it belongs to the same generation of tanks as the US M60 series, German Leopard 1, and British Chieftain tank.

  7. Holy doodle that's nice.
I sure like looks of those commie tanks even though they make good targets. I'll be seeing one for real soon when I visit the Museum of the Regiments in Calgary. I'll photograph the kids on top of it.

  9. Hey Warren,

I have been very busy finishing the ol' star destroyer. It's nearly there.....A couple of weeks and she's done.

Are you going to the race?

  10. Dave- Well when you're done take some photos and I'll post them. If you're referring to the Edmonton Indy I'd love to but no cash.

  11. Yes. That's an expensive touch. I can't go either. Time and money considerations. Same old. Dad and myself or considering Toronto or Edmonton next year.

After the SD is done I'll be going to work on a U.S. photo spitfire based on the ICM Mark 8, McKnight's Hurricane, and a racing Datsun 510.
