Dave Porter's Hellcat

This is Hasegawa’s F6F Hellcat in 1/48 scale. This aircraft really secured aerial dominance over the Pacific 1943-45. I built the thing pretty well out of the box and I added some aftermarket decals. I wanted to weather it in a way that’s typical of a lot of sun and salt air exposure. I layered the colors and lightened them with each coat.
