Here are some images of Italeri's Leonardo da Vinci's Paddle Boat based on his drawings. This kit was originally an educational model designed to be built quickly... that is until I got a hold of it. With a bit of paint and some weathering, some wood planking, thread, cleats and a barrel it makes for quite an acceptable display piece.
Warren your work is really impressive. I see we have the same tastes and interests. With respect to the videos of each model was a good idea, but has one drawback. YouTube will remove them and if you want to continually keep up to date, you must continually review and replace the ones you removed.

That is sweet. I like how you used (very nice) metal effects on the drive train rather than the wood from his drawings. It really gives the vessel a nice steampunk appeal
Extraordinarios trabajos, le felicito

ReplyDeleteYeah. That's really great. Lots of originality in this model. The depth in the finish gives it a lot of character.

ReplyDeleteThanks Pat- He was a bloody genius. I read that he detested people but loved animals.
