H.M.S. Surprise (Stern, Keel and Rubbing Strakes)


I have now started on the stern, keel and rubbing strakes. I like doing this part as it starts to ad to the ornateness to these wonderful ships.

    Is the procedure the same (except for the scale) as for building the full size ship?

    I would think so in many of the steps though I think real ships are built from the keel up where as model ships are built from the frame down then from the hull up.
