    This kit was originally released by Special Hobby in the mid 2000's.
    Were you a young fella then?

    Well I must be very wrong, or seeing I'm not that young any more the grey matter is well and truly kicked in. Still it's a great looking aircraft.

    You might be thinking of the 1/48 scale Airacobra by Monogram/ Revell.
    That's been around for a long long time.
