Here are some images of Tamiyas 1/35 scale S.gl.Pkw. Steyr Kommandeurwagen. This was the vehicle of choice for high ranking German officers of World War 2 when out and about in the field. Originally this vehicle was designed to carry 8 passengers but to accommodate for comfort could only now carry 5 passengers. The model itself went together without any difficulty and is nicely detailed.
I like how this one shows the figures in an action. With tanks or aircraft, they often just sit there and are nice, but this is like a 3-dimensional photograph almost.
I forgot to mention that at the Boeing Museum of Flight in Seattle, a retired doctor donated over 400 model aircraft (all 1/72 scale) to the museum, and they're all on display in lighted glass cabinets. They're all WW1 and WW2 planes and are actually pretty good, except they don't have any aging or weathering like I see on yours sometimes.
Thanks Hanny - I've often noticed that older generation model builder don't like weathering their models for some reason. Full out weathering of models I think is a more recent phenomenon. Within the past 20 or 30 years anyway.
