Here are some images of Monograms 1/48 scale Consolidated PBY-5 Catalina reconnaissance and rescue aircraft. The markings on this aircraft are that of Admiral John McCain. No not the "my friends" John McCain but his old man. This is one of the best model aircraft Monogram produced and was a real pleasure to build. The exterior has beautifully recessed panel lines and the interior is complete right down to the toilet. The model is widely available and runs for around $50 Cdn and well worth the buy.
