Shuckert

In keeping with the lozenge theme here are some images of Dave Porter's Eduard 1/48 scale Siemens Shuckert.

This is a brass and low pressure injection plastic kit. This was a very demanding kit considering the delicate nature of the brass parts, the brittle plastic, and poor fit. However the decals and the detail are of a high standard. The end result was very satisfying.

Wow. Kudos to Mr. Porter. That's a fantastic build even if it wasn't that particular kit.

That kit totally kicked my butt this winter. Awful, awful, awful kit. It is a credit to them that the buckled down and improved themselves to now make what are arguably the best 1/48 biplanes and some of the best monoplanes on the market today.

Hey, Thanks a lot guys. This is my favorite German fighter of the war. Rodan has a very nice model available in 1/32 complete with the decals.
