Messerschmitt ME. 262 B2 Turboprop (Flugzeug)

Here are some images of Trumpeter/Unicraft 1/32 scale Messerschmitt ME. 262 B2 Turboprop (Flugzeug).
As this type never made it past the drawing board stage, the markings of this aircraft are hypothetical.

From the instructions.
The Daimler-Benz DB.021 turboprop engines driving six-bladed propellers were designed by the end of World War II.
The main advantage of such a type was the small fuel consumption (compared to the turbojet engines of that time), hence the bigger flying endurance.
The ME. 262 project powered with the DB. 021 engines dates to February 1945.
The same power unit was also to be installed on the Arado Ar. 234 bomber (project 1944).
A lot more types could be fitted with the engine had the war lasted longer.
