Super Cobra
Here are a couple of images of Dave Porters 1/35 scale MRC Bell AH-1W Super Cobra attack helicopter. First flown in 1965 the Cobra was the mainstay for the US army until its replacement by the AH-64 Apache. The Cobra is still in service to this day in many countries including the US as well as being used in a fire fighting role. First flown in 1969 The twin engined AH-1W Super Cobra is currently the backbone for the US Marine corps attack helicopter fleet but is scheduled for replacement by the AH-1Z Viper upgrade in the next decade. This kit was built SOB but for a few details on the engine doors. It is finished in Testor enamels and Tamiya acrylics.
