Focke Wulf TA 152

Here is an image of Dave Porter's 1/48 scale Italeri Focke Wulf TA 152.
This is a very detailed kit and it comes with a complete engine. It didn’t really fit too well and a lot of extra work was required to assemble it. As usual, Dave added was the harness and cannons. He painted it with Testors metal colors and Aeromaster acrylics. Dave decided to paint it in a hap hazard late war scheme where the aircraft were thrown together in sub assemblies. The decals were from the box. The photo was from a display at The Regina Model Expo in 2004.

Nice scheme, and weathering.

Thank you. It's fun to try the Luftwaffe's late war paint.

This is a scheme from a D-11 done by John Quint who took Gold at the SCAHMS California contest in 1997. Fine Scale Modeler took a series of photos of his winning model for their Great Scale Modeling issue in early 1998. Nice attempt.
