Babylon 5 is an American science fiction television series created, produced and largely written by J. Michael Straczynski. The show centers on the Babylon 5 space station: a focal point for politics, diplomacy, and conflict during the years 2257–2262. With its prominent use of planned story arcs, the series was often described as a "novel for television".

The pilot film premiered on February 22, 1993. The regular series aired from January 26, 1994 and ran for five full seasons. The show spawned six television films and a spin-off series, Crusade, which aired in 1999 and ran for thirteen episodes. On July 31, 2007, a DVD was released containing two short films about selected characters from the series.

I just recently watched the whole series for the first time. Good, but it isn't the vastly superior over Deep Space Nine show that they make it out to be.

Does part of the model rotate like in the show?

Yes it turns. I think it would be possible to put a motor in it as well but I never bothered. I think DS9 was the better show.

I liked the third season of B5 a great deal, but after that, it just seemed to hang around the house and never went anywhere. And was it just me, or did Sheridan often seem kind of preachy? A very nice job on the model, by the way, on a kit I personally found kind of troublesome.

I remember when I first got this kit looking at the box top wondering "how the hell am I going to paint that?"when upon opening it seeing the decals. I found the first three seasons plus "In the Beginning" to be the best of the series".

I never saw a single episode of the series, but I really like what you've done with the model...
